I joined Flex Legal in 2020 to grow our Manchester office and today I'm proud to lead on all things commercial for Private Practice. Prior to Flex I worked at Co-op Group in a variety of management roles and I use my experience to innovate, connect people and get stuff done! I love to travel, try new health fads and care for my demanding cockapoo.

I'm Mary, the founder of Flex Legal. I previously worked as a property litigation solicitor at a City law firm. I now spend a lot of my time meeting with new clients and focusing on Flex Legal's vision. I love hearing people's stories and career journeys so do get in touch!

Prior to Flex, I graduated with a first in Political Science at RAIUL and then went on to complete my LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice from the University of Edinburgh. Outside of work I like to explore, play extreme sports, and find time to do circus training.

In addition to this, I have significant experience working in agency recruitment, where I assisted organisations across a variety of sectors, including legal, change and transformation and human resources.

I'm thoroughly kept on my toes by my two daughters (best and most unreasonable 'bosses' I've ever had!).

Now, I spend my days as a Junior Success Manager, and I love working with our Private Practice clients to find them fabulous lawyers and paralegals. Outside of work, I have a taste for scotch whiskey, cooking great food, exploring historical places.
