Head of Innovation
I joined Flex Legal in 2020 and I've been proud to be part of the growth story ever since! Prior to Flex Legal, I worked in a number of roles for a large retailer. I love to travel, try new health fads and care for my demanding cockapoo, Ralph.

Founder
I'm Mary, the founder of Flex Legal. I previously worked as a property litigation solicitor at a City law firm. I now spend a lot of my time meeting with new clients and focusing on Flex Legal's vision. I love hearing people's stories and career journeys so do get in touch!

Marketing Executive
Hi, I'm Shaun, and I joined Flex as a Marketing Executive in 2024. Prior to Flex, I graduated in Psychology. Now I spend my days creating content, optimising ads, strategising and data handling. Outside of work I am a DJ, I run a budding events and apparel brand and I love to read.

Client Account Manager
I'm Emily and I joined Flex as a Client Account Manager in March 2024. Previously, I have worked as an Account Manager in the Alternative Legal Services space, focusing on flexible resourcing within private practice clients. In addition to this, I have significant experience working in agency recruitment, where I assisted organisations across a variety of sectors, including legal, change and transformation and human resources.

Associate - Paralegal Engagement & Acquisition
Hi, I'm Ru, and I joined Flex as a Paralegal Acquisition and Engagement Associate in October 2025. Prior to Flex, I completed my LLB with a Study Abroad Year at Lancaster University. Now I spend my days supporting paralegals on placements with our clients and helping them to grow in their legal careers. Outside of work I like to travel, listen to podcasts, and attend jaw-dropping theatre productions.

Head of Development & Technical Operations
I joined Flex as Head of Technology in October 2024. I'm have been building B2B software for over 30 years, with startup, public and private sector organisations. More recently I've been managing technology change programmes and very excited to be supporting Flex on the next stage of the journey. Outside work I run, bike and am the second worst swimmer in the world... there must be someone worse than me... surely?

Head of Trainee Success
Hi, I'm Olivia and I joined Flex in June 2022, firstly as a Client Services Manager. I have now moved to join the Flex Trainee team as our Flex Trainee Success Manager. Prior to joining Flex, I worked in legal recruitment and have 8 years experience of working with a variety of in-house teams (and some very cool businesses!) across the UK.

Hi, I'm Rosa, and I joined Flex as Flex Trainee Success Associate in April 2024. Prior to Flex, I completed my Masters in Law and moved on to specialise in People Operations within the Renewable Energy Industry. Now I spend my days ensuring the success of our Trainee Scheme. I enjoy travelling and interior design!

Client Account Executive
Hi, I’m Maz! I joined Flex as a Client Executive in March 2025 and also work as a paralegal for UCB Pharmaceuticals. Before this, I spent several years working as a paralegal and recently passed my SQE LLM (1 & 2). These days, I look after our lovely clients — and outside of work, I enjoy running and attempting to cook vegan recipes (with varying degrees of success!).

I'm Kate and I have been working in the legal sector for nearly 20 years. I worked at Magic and Silver Circle firms in London and Sydney, and then was a director at LexisNexis before joining Flex Legal in April 2022. I'm passionate about people - their development, wellbeing and ability to do work that fulfils them. I'm thoroughly kept on my toes by my two daughters (best and most unreasonable 'bosses' I've ever had!).

Paralegal Acquisition & Engagement Manager
Hi, I’m Lizzie, I joined Flex as an Associate in October 2022. Prior to Flex, I studied my LLB (Hons) with the University of Cumbria, and have since completed the Bar Course element of my LLM in Legal Practice whilst working full-time. Now, I spend my days as a Paralegal Acquisition & Engagement Manager, and I love working with our paralegals to help them find fabulous placements. Outside of work, I have a taste for scotch whiskey, cooking great food, exploring historical places.

I'm the Flex Trainee Ambassador at Flex Legal and have over 25 years' experience in the legal sector. Most notably, I have worked as a corporate commercial lawyer in the city, and as the Head of Legal for various media companies.

Talent Manager
Hi, I'm Olivia, and I joined Flex as a Talent Executive in May 2024. Prior to Flex, I worked in recruitment and HR within financial services and consultancy. I also spent a number of years working in tech startups within customer success, operations and product. Now I spend my days finding and placing amazing talent on our Flex trainee and apprentice schemes. Outside of work I like to be in nature, especially near water, and spend a lot of time walking my dog in Epping forest.

Associate - Lawyer Acquisition
Hi, I'm Somachi, and I joined Flex as a Success Associate in February but currently work as a Lawyer Acquisition Associate. Before Flex, I completed a Law degree at Lancaster University and worked as the Strategic Account Manager for WCAN. Now I spend my days maintaining lawyer candidate pools, working on new recruitment strategies and supporting our team to find strong candidates for our roles. Outside of work, I like to crochet, read and travel!

Hi, I’m Aoife! I’m an Engagement Senior Manager in the Lawyers team at Flex Legal, where I help our in-house and private practice clients with their interim lawyer needs. Before joining Flex, I built a strong reputation in permanent legal recruitment at top agencies. Joining Flex feels like a full-circle moment: I was a paralegal through the platform myself years ago!
