Using law graduates for non-legal work at Echo

When the UK Government ordered the Nation to stay home, Echo, an online Pharmacy that dispenses and delivers NHS prescriptions, experienced an unprecedented increase in customer demand.  Echo urgently needed extra pairs of hands to manage the inbound customer enquiries and F-LEX immediately responded to the call for help.

Although not our usual gig, we knew our law graduates would have no problem being able to empathise, respect regulations and confidentiality, work fast, show an eye for detail and deliver exceptional customer service.

Using the F-LEX platform, we were able to rapidly search through our pool, notify the right candidates of the opportunity by text and provide Echo with a team without any of the timesheet hassle. The group of Flexers were provided with training and a security kit by Echo and within hours began supporting patients remotely from their homes.

Dom Williams, Chief Operating Officer at Echo says:

“The F-LEX team's ability to be agile and learn new skills to support Echo's during the UK's time of need has been invaluable. By working together we've managed to go from supporting 100,000 patients to 175,000 and growing. By combining we're enabling the vulnerable and elderly to get hold of their medication without risking their health. Thank you!”
