December's event will focus on what modern slavery is, the signs and indicators, why it's important to identify these risks, and the law behind it - such as what the key requirements of the Modern Slavery Act are, and the proposed changes.We'll be answering these questions and more with Rory Oake, Consultant at Ardea International.
Rory Oake
Rory is a consultant at Ardea International, a specialist sustainability, business and human rights consultancy with expertise in modern slavery. We support organisations to meet their legal compliance obligations and develop best practice procedures to ensure they become more sustainable.In his time at Ardea, he has contributed to a range of projects relating to modern slavery and sustainability, developing practical solutions to embed human rights due diligence across supply chains in line with the law and international standards. Rory’s projects have involved clients in professional sport, finance, IT, manufacturing and retail, and agriculture.
