Conexus Law: Helping a niche law firm grow its headcount

Conexus Law is a specialist advisory firm, providing legal and business advice to clients who operate at the intersection of the built environment, technology and people. Ed Cooke, the founder of Conexus Law is an expert in his field having been a partner at DLA Piper and Bird and Bird before setting up his own venture.

Flex Legal and Conexus Law have been working together since the beginning of 2020. Flex Legal have helped Conexus Law add to its growing team of impressive lawyers. Conexus Law has made 2 permanent hires through Flex Legal and they continue to work together.

Conexus Law and Flex Legal have a similar approach to supporting clients with robust, creative and commercially pragmatic solutions. In addition to Flex Legal providing recruitment support for Conexus Law, Conexus Law has also been able to help out some of Flex Legal’s clients; most recently assisting on some urgent legal advice on a construction matter. The work was done over the weekend and the end client was really happy. Both companies believe in work life balance and integration and the team at Conexus Law work in a way that empowers them to deliver exceptional client service, but also allows them the flexibility to manage responsibilities at home and to live life to the full.

This has become even more important due to Covid. Offering both flexibility in terms of how client’s matters are handled and around how the work is carried out, allows for more innovative solutions in turn.
