  • Exclusively selected to participate in a five day programme featuring seminars from lawyers across various firms, including Reed Smith, Cooley, Addleshaw Goddard, Freshfields and more.
  • Allocated Networking Pods, where I was elected group coordinator via a successfull pitch on the positive contributions I could make.
  • Responsibilities included organising team meetings, ensuring all tasks were completed to the set deadlines. Merging all given answers to produce a succinct solution and resolving any challenges faced.
  • Conducted legal research to complete set tasks on various practice areas including: Fraud, Intellectual Property, M&A, and Capital Markets and Finance. Highlighting key legislation, possible remedies and providing advice for our client.

  • The firm’s practice areas include commercial and resisdential property, immigration, wills and probate and family law.
  • During my time I shadowed several lawyers and supported them with daily client liaisons, drafting letters and claim forms.
  • I contributed to updating case files and assisted with market research into client queries and produced notes for senior solicitors on various topics including due diligence. These tasks improved my confidence in basic legal tasks and I learned the importance of good file management and client care.
  • Navigated software management system, ensuring all necessary documents had been uploaded and cases were closed down.
  • Prepared case bundles, ensuring all necessary documents were present, locating any missing files. Produced a checklist of the required documents, organising them via clear tabs and contents.
