F-LEX virtual lunches for junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals

Last week, Sophie Gould, Head of Learning & Development at F-LEX, chaired the first in a series of virtual lunches for junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals.  We are running these lunches in collaboration with LexisNexis and Crafty Counsel. The sessions are dedicated to paralegals, trainees and junior lawyers in law firms and in-house teams and aim to offer a platform where they can network and support each other during these difficult times.

The turnout was fantastic with over 60 plus registrations.  We were delighted to be joined by some of our long-standing paralegals and clients and had the opportunity to connect with many others. The attendees shared recipes and TV series recommendations (Kingdom and Tiger King received praise all across the board).

All participants were united by the same common thread - making the most out of working from home. For one of our FLEX-ers, the transition was easy to make as he had been previously working remotely during his placement. Others who have found the transition a bit more difficult quipped in with suggestions on how to find a balance between work and personal life and with productivity tips.

Our attendees had a chance to test out their general knowledge during a short quiz and at the end, we crowned a winner! Above all, it was a great opportunity for everyone to come together and bond over shared hobbies!

Further virtual sessions will be hosted via Zoom every Wednesday for the next four weeks (15th, 22nd, 29th April and 6th May) from 12:30-1.15pm. These are a great opportunity to share insights and strategies on how best to manage these unprecedented times, so please do get involved!
