F-LEX turns 3!

Yes guys, three years ago two intrepid entrepreneurs began the journey of a life time and a jump into the unknown. From Shoreditch to London Bridge and Manchester, F-LEX has gone from strength to strength.

Mary and James wanted to say a massive thank you to all the paralegals past and present who have done such a fantastic job at our wonderful clients and have helped take the company to where it is today.

Going into our 4th year we are super excited, as we have some big changes about to come in that we hope will push us onto the next level! So make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the news as it all happens.

Team News 

This month we have had to say goodbye to another one of our wonderful bookings team. Georgia, joined us at the start of the summer having just completed her GDL and very quickly settled into life at F-LEX. But, alas she has now gone onto sunnier climates as she goes on her travels before starting her LPC in 2020. We hope you all join us in saying a massive thank you to Georgia for all her of her hard work and efforts!

As one door closes…Welcome to Ally!. Ally joined at the start of the month and I already well embedded in life at F-LEX. Having completed her LPC, Ally will be with us on the Commercial Development Scheme until she starts her training contract in 2020. 

The F-LEX Book Club

Following on from Rebecca’s recommendation of The Secret Barrister, our book of the Month for September comes from yours truly.

If you haven’t already then grab yourselves a copy of Is Eating People Wrong?: Great Legal Cases and How They Shaped The World by Allan Hutchinson.

Buy, borrow, beg but certainly don’t steal a copy of this compelling storytelling of eight landmark cases. It’s a surprisingly entertaining read that can be referred to any training contract application or interview and will help to demonstrate your academic curiosity and interest.

Many of you may already have read it but if not be sure to grab a copy and let us know what you think. 

F-LEX Bristol

F-LEX will now be conducting weekly onboarding sessions in Bristol!

We're looking forward to this opportunity to meet aspiring lawyers from across the South-West.
